One thing I wanted to talk about is web traffic. Web traffic is probably by far one the key ingredients to running a successful website. Problem is how does a brand new website get fast traffic? Well I’m not going to lie to you and I’ll explain why I’m saying that. In order for your new website to get visitors right away is advertising or buying web traffic. Purchasing advertising space on websites which have lots of web visitors is a sure shot in getting visitors to your web site. I’d recommend if possible to use a graphic banner and have it placed that websites most popular page. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the home page. It could be a inner page of the web site. What you need to do is determine which page gets the most visitors.
Another way to advertise is to use programs like Google Adwords and other advertising programs like Clicksor. I must warn you in order to get good results you have to pay to play. Basically the way it works the more you spend daily the more impressions your website will get and the better position. If you spend 100 dollars a day on Google adwords with a popular key phrase like I need web traffic your website might appear on the first page of Google with lots of impressions and might be on the top of the rest of the ads on Google’s search page who are using adwords. If you only spend 20 dollars a day on that same key phrase your web site might be listed on the fourth or fifth page of Google and might only get a few impressions a day. That wont do much for your site. Remember this was just an example. If your going to use this method I’d go with Google adwords and spend as much as you could to achieve better results.

Why buy web traffic your asking yourself? Well buying traffic will generate visitors and possibly add revenue to site. What I mean by adding revenue to your site is that if you are trying to sell a product your chances of selling are increased when you buy traffic although there are not guarantee’s. You should also be careful if your running contextual ads on your site like Google Adsense. If your using Adsense on your website and your site is receiving paid web traffic they will disable your account unless the traffic is Adsense safe.
Remember the choice is yours and figure out what you want to do. Personally I recommend good old search engine optimization. If done right you will enjoy the rewards. It will take time but patience is a virtue. Enjoy the article!
